Best CD I've heard so far 2011.........

I'll definitely buy the new Sarah Jarosz CD in May. Never heard of her until I saw her on Austin City Limits.

Theo-Always liked Bryan Ferry.
PS: New Allison Kraus CD in a week or so.

I read in a review of Harlem River Blues that all the songs are about a contemplated suicide. Is this true or just literary embellishment?

Yes, the new Sarah Jarosz cd is quite good. I'm particularly fond of the song "My Muse". I was afraid her sophomore effort might be a let down but it certainly isn't. Hope she has a great musical future ahead of her.

If you like jazz guitar, another CD I found and really liked in 2011 was Jonathan Kreisbergs "Shadowless". Very nice IMO.

Another CD I found in 2011 is "The Green Children". Not my style but I like it anyway! 8^) I believe they only have one CD out but many downloads are available.
