Just bought a used Icon with an Ortofon OMB 20 (claimed low hours). Looking NOT to break the bank but something that is of high sonic value. A great bang for the buck (MC or MM).
Also looking to rewire the arm. Suggestions? Yours for higher fidelity, Phil
i always recommend the mm AudioTechnica 150x. you can spend more or less of course, but the cartridge competes with the sound of 3 cartridges i own(and like)that sell for 3 to 4 times more. a workingman's decca.
