About twelve years ago, I decided a return to Tannoy was something I had to do. I bought a pair of HPD 315 (12" Dual Concentric from the mid-seventies) on Ebay UK. I had a pair of enclosures made that are 150 liters, bass-reflex that are 17" X 20" X 48" H. They are made of a 3/4" inner MDF layer laminated to 1 1/8" MDF for 1 7/8" net. They weigh 192 lbs. net, w/o drivers or crossovers.
They perform extremely well, though mine are 58" from the wall behind them. I expect they would work pretty well close to the wall, since the reflex ports are in the front of the speakers. The original crossovers are mounted in a small pocket at the bottom rear of the cabinets, and can still be used by changing some connections in that pocket.
I use some DIY built outboard crossovers using Alpha Core ribbon inductors, Mundorf S-I-O caps, and Dueland resistors.
I love these speakers unreservedly, they will be my only speakers until I draw my last breath.
You can read about them in Virtual Systems, "Done For Now", titled "The Summit". By the way, my oldest son's name is Brook. I don't know where you are located, but Google is your friend. Check with reputable cabinet makers in your area.
Best of luck on your project, regards,
Dan
