Best amp options for JM Reynaud Bliss Silver

Hi friends,

I have a nice pair of JM Reynaud Bliss Silver speakers, which are currently being driven by a vintage Audire Crescendo SS amp and a Linear Tube Audio MZ2 pre.
My set up is in a pretty large loft room and though it sounds good, like a typical audiophile, I think it can sound better.

The JMRs are 4 ohm and 89db efficient.
Currently considering a Conrad Johnson Premier 11 (I really like tubes!) or maybe a First Watt F7 (I like class A sound too). Not sure if either of these would match the LTA pre’s input impedance better?

Hoping for better bass extension and improved soundstage holography. I do prefer a warmer more musical sound versus hyper detailed hifi sound signature.

Would appreciate thoughts or other amp recommendations.

Thanks! Lincoln

MY TAKE: Four factors in a decision tree

- Sure, We all know that budgets matter, big time. They introduce compromises to be identified and managed / accepted.
- Also, most recommended options suffer from personal bias .

- Thirdly, there is no “best” or silver bullet choice for anything in this hobby…. We have “contenders”  versus “pretenders”

- .Fourthly, Your suggested budget cap handicaps suggestions for the top contenders to make your JMRs really sing at their max. I’ve auditioned JMR at dealers . They can be impressive , but everytime I heard them, it was always a dealer option #2 setup below.

(1) $2K max options:

-Think pre-owned upper model CYRUS, EXPOSURE, REGA, NAIM

(2) If you can provide for a step-up in budget:

- Now the contenders can deliver a step-up in your musical performance that is significant. The philosophy is clear. A comparatively affordable speaker with better amplification (and source) makes more sense than an expensive speaker with a comparatively  cheap amp (and source).

Think  YBA (preferred),  AUDIOMAT (preferred);, LFD, COPLAND .
