Best agressive metal tube pre amp with phono stage

Hey guys i am looking for a good $1000 or less preamp that I can use with my Stanton str8 150 TT and a mesa boogie baron power amp. I am thinking about some PSB Stratus gold speakers or maybe some gallo 3.1's. I don't know about a cartridge for the TT yet so that is up in the air.
I need a tube preamp with a phono stage that will be good for aggressive metal, rock, and electronica.
