Beatles Red and Blue Comps on Apple?

Although i generally steer away from comps...Beatles records are harder to come by...especially in good condition...at any rate...how do these sound? I have heard that some comps use inferior(2nd gen) masters? THis true?

I own the US and UK releases; both are great.

Some of the cuts are actually better than those from the original albums.

For example, Strawberry Fields and Walrus are cleaner and more dynamic on the blue album than their Magical Mystery Tour counterparts.
