B&W 705 vs CM7

I'm looking for speakers for my Mcintosh MA6300 and MCD201. Originally wanted bookshelves because of space limitations. 705 sounds great but I don't like the design (I'm a product designer, aesthetics are equally important to sound quality). I like the modern details with the traditional configuration of the CM7; but my untrained ear only picks up subtle differences between the superior (2-way) 700 series bookshelves and the 3 way CM7s. Any thoughts?
