I have a question for the Ayre QX-5 20 owners. Is there any rationale in a high end system using the Ayre QX-5 20 DAC to invest in a separate streamer or would this simply put be a waste of money since the Ayre is capable of accepting just about any digital connection?
Ayre Acoustics QX-5 Twenty Streaming DAC
Had the Ayre QX-8 Streaming DAC for some time and it was an outstanding DAC. I just recently upgraded to the Ayre QX-5 Twenty Streaming DAC. IMHO, the Ayre QX-5 Twenty Streaming DAC is one of the best DACs on the market today. Although not inexpensive, it's a big-time value compared to some of the more expensive megabuck DACs on the market today. An "AMAZING" piece of gear!!!!

@ct10 The streamer that's incorporated in the magnificent Ayre QX-5 Twenty streaming DAC is without a doubt, excellent!!! I'm extremely happy with it!!! My primary reason for purchasing the Ayre QX-5 Twenty streaming DAC in the first place was due to it's renowned all-in-one excellence (convenience). I've never been happier!!! Happy listening. |
