Axpona 2022 what impressed you?

I'll start. The Borrensen 01 playing Otis Taylor 'Resurrection blues' was stunning! I also enjoyed the Legacy Aeris on the first floor playing Nils lofgren 'Keith don't go'. In the smaller rooms there was a $4k pair of speakers with what looked like 18" woofers and a horn tweeter that performed well. While the kef ref 3 sounded harsh the ref 5 in a similar small room sounded great just reminding me how much incremental set up affects the demo. I only had a few hours on saturday and missed many rooms due to crowds and would enjoy hearing others impressions from the show.

Been going to AXPONA for manty years and this is the first time I was actually floored by a speaker.  Actually 2 speakers from the same maker that were in 2 separate rooms.  Borresen 01 and 02.  $60,000 bookshelf speakers on the first floor and $90,000 floor standers on the 16th floor.  If I ever win the lottery these are mine!  Also really like the TAD Micro evolution bookshelves and the Valorem bookshelves.

I can’t justify Raidho or borrensen prices, I love the demos and I expect another six figures driving the speakers helps. I just know somehow in my room they would lose that magic.

The Joseph Audio Pearl Graphene speakers driven by Doshi electronics; Vivid speakers driven by JMF Audio and Ideon (big bucks); TAD Evolution 2 driven by T+A HV separates

Perlisten in the regular room, the tower with 3 tweeters sounded really good too and if you’re local to axpona I think simply stereo has a pair I may check out

Styleman I think you are mistaken about the price or model of the Legacy Areis. Those go for around $21K a pair. I think the Focus (which are also amazing) go for $10-11K. Legacy speakers ars incredible and offer a lot for the money.
