Aurilac Vega G2 vs Aries G2

Folks,

Anyone have the Vega G2? 

For $3,800 you get the streamer. for Another $2k the vega g2, which is a DAC and has the older aries streaming in it. Seems like getting the vega is a bet on the DAC is amazing.

Alternatively, one could get the aries g1 streamer and any dac you like. thoughts?

I was researching these units today and was wondering how good the Ethernet direct into the Vega G2 is. Aurilac seems to prefer wireless, so I was wondering if the Vega's Ethernet is the best connection option?

@david_ten Thanks for the link.

@shadorne The wireless approach was always a preferred way for me. However, I have jumped through hoops to go direct Ethernet because of past criticisms of Wifi (going through house copper wires, rendu, etc..). I am going to look into the new wifi based streaming approaches.
