Aurender Users

Hi, I don't know if this has been answered before but I want to ask Aurender users a question.

I'm thinking of buying an Aurender N200 but I can't find a dealer to test it.

For me the most important thing is to be able to discover new music. In the Condutcor app, if you listen to Tidal, does the app give recommendations for similar songs or artists? does it have a "radio" function like Roon?

Let me clarify a bit since it's not as black and white.

If you like a track in your queue, you can click on the three dots to the right side of the track to load the contextual menu and play "Track Radio". That will queue up a number of relevane tracks based on the selected track.

As you browse artists in the Tidal or Qobuz views of Conductor, there is a menu in the artist page that allows you to see Similar Artists.

Last, there is an option in the settings menu under Streaming that allows you to auto-play at the end of a queue, and this will load similar tracks to the end of your queue so you can keep discovering music.

I am an Aurender dealer and will PM you with some additional details.

@opm you can choose to do either. If it includes local files on my drive as well as streaming, I use the Conductor playlist. But those are not portable, so in most cases I make playlists on my streaming platform of choice.

It is possible to add tracks to a Qobuz playlist from within Conductor.

@vonhelmholtz I realize I never replied to your direct inquiry to me on this in the past, my apologies. Yes, sometimes the categorization makes it seem hard to find complex pieces like that. That said, you can do song names that include the orchestra or conductor name as well, and it typically still brings up results. You are not limited to only using song names in the search under Songs. I do this all the time with non-classical music as well.
