auralex platforms

I've wondered the same thing. or under components. seems ideal.

I have them under my NHT M00 monitors on my desk. Outstanding imaging and they let me focus the sound toward my ears w the "tilt" feature.

The Auralex platforms under my Velodyne HGS-15 and HGS-10 really improved the tightness and extension of the bass. This improvement was especially noticeable with the HGS-15. I've wondered about putting them under my KEF Reference 104.2s as well, but they cross over to the HGS-15 at 80 Hz, so I doubt there would be any benefit.
