You would be best served by either calling Audioquest, or PM'ing John Rutan (Audioconnection).
Gibraltar and Slate are a bit long in the tooth. And, mixing two different series might make things a bit muddied.- Though it won't be something that would causes any damage- Only something that might make sound reproduction less than optimal.
