I don’t pay attention to that stuff. I want to hear standard audiophile terminology coming from reputable high end professional reviewers like The Absolute Sound, Stereophile, or HiFi+. The terminology is defined in The Complete Guide to High End Audio by Robert Harley. For people serious about assessing and learning about high end audio, these are tha basic sources. In general. If any of these folks use the kinds of words you are talking about, it is worthwhile to take notice.
audio speak and the current terms, I am a bit dated...your thoughts/experience
I would guess that many of you have gone through your own times with audio gear and reviews/reviewers using real or hyperbole language in descriptions of components, speakers etc.
There was, state-of-the-art (or SOTA), Musical, Realistic, "like you were there",
giving one "goosebumps", and the overall, Best. World Class, "last amp, speaker,
cd player, etc you will ever need"...
,
.
Pease submit your thoughts on what are the current words' that are the "in" words for audio thoughts, experience, explaining...etc.
From what I know Groovy, Far Out and many others are "old hat"
