Audio Space LS-3/5a Bookshelf with SW-1a Subs

Hello,

Any chance of a 22 watt/ch tube integrated amp being able to drive the above-mentioned speakers (bookselves with matching subs)? Moderate levels in a 10 x 14 x 9 bedroom. Jazz acoustic intrumental and vocals. Thanks.

The speakers are quite inefficient so throwing more power at them is a little like pissing up a rope." How is adding more powerful amplification to an "inefficient" speaker tantamount to pissing up a rope? What have I missed here?
