If it came with a Chinese 6C4 rectifier, I’d definitely swap it for a Soviet 6C4P-EV. As for the 6S45-E, there are no direct plug-and-play equivalents, though with an adapter you can use 417A or 5842 tubes - the Western Electric versions being the best of the bunch. I experimented with those alternatives, but in the end I went back to the Russian tubes. One thing I wouldn’t recommend is the current new-production Russian stuff.
