You already have one almost. If you want to reduce EMI and RFI pick up because what it is plugged into does not have a properly designed power supply and you think a band-aid will help some problem you imagine may be out there you can't define, just snap a 25 cent ferrite on it and give it about one twist per 2 inches. Both mods are actually sound engineering.
Or you could cut the ends off, pay $9 each for a couple of plugs, and slip 29 cents worth of braid over it and it will look and perform just like the boutique ones so your friends will be impressed. The braid actually helps keep a twisted cord from kinking up.
