Atma-Sphere Class D… Amazing

Today I picked up my Atma-Sphere Class D Amps. These aren’t broken in yet. And they are simply amazing. I’ve listen to a lot of High End Class D. Some that cost many times what Atma-Sphere Class D costs. I wasn’t a fan of any of them. But these amps are amazing. I really expected to hate them. So my expectations were low. The Details are of what I’ve never heard from any other amps. They are extremely neutral. To say the realism is is extremely good is a gross understatement. They are so transparent it’s scary. These amps just grab you and suck you into the music. After I live with them some and get them broken in. And do some comparisons to some other high end Amps Solid State, Tubes and Class D’s, also in other systems I’ll do a more comprehensive review. But for now, these are simply amazing amps.. Congrats to Ralph and his team. You guys nailed on these.

By the way, I would suggest that should you wish to continue this conversation that we do it privately.

Did someone get a 2nd warning from Amin? That would explain the added sentence at the end after the original posting .

I'm aware of him and just emailed him to Stop commenting on that thread.
Let me know if he continues.--Admin

Did somebody get a reprieve?

@noske,

I understand your point of view re: keeping this thread going for the appreciation and discussion of atmasphere's amps. I never intended to post to this thread as I won't own the amp but reading it from time to time caught my attention as to the cruelty displayed by kuribo in his relentless highjacking of the discussion and denigration of Ralph's amp as well as his character, in what he thinks is a veiled and clever manner.

That there are some here who've fallen for kuribo's tactics is not my concern. As anyone can see from his post above, he's of the impression that he's got the upper hand and is now playing the victim and using that for cover while attacking Ralph and his amp. Using memes like "doxxing" and feigning injury is part of his M.O. He's used it throughout this thread.

So yes, the mods will be made aware of this, shortly.

All the best,
Nonoise

@kuribo ,

What's it like going through life quarreling with those who don't see things your way? It must be all consuming for someone like you.

@kuribo

Thanks for agreeing with me and demonstrating so in your follow up posts.

Kuribo is nothing more than a high functioning troll.
He's just messing with everyone. Ignore him.

Looks like someone is trying to erase the breadcrumbs so as to present an alternative narrative.

Great way to avoid the obvious distinction I made of you.
The old "i'm rubber and you're glue" response.

Another negative attribute about zealots is they lack a sense of humor.

Looks like the disciples of the church of Bruno are laying it on pretty heavy. They decry those who cannot see with their own eyes yet ignore what they refuse to listen to with their own ears. Heresy!

Reading through this thread is kind of amusing. You have some here staying on topic and others who nit pick statements and put their spin on them from some self anointed higher ground when in fact, it's just sophistry for the purpose of getting their spin out there enough times, thinking it will sink in and become conventional wisdom.

It's just their opinion, hiding behind "facts".

Nonoise

Someone doesn't know much about measurements. They may not tell you if you will like it, but they certainly can at least point to how something will sound based on the distortion spectra.

Sounds like someone is having fun with semantics at this thread's expense.

"They may not tell you if you will like it" is pretty much the same as "don't even begin to inform someone of how it's going to sound" with the difference being the tense and the taste of the individual.

"...certainly can at least point to how something will sound based on the distortion spectra" is another way of saying "meet the low standards of conventional wisdom." albeit from different points of view.

All the best,
Nonoise

The fact of the matter is, measurements don't even begin to inform one of how something is going to sound, just that it will meet the low standards of conventional wisdom.
