I've got a set of ATC 50 passive which I upgraded from a set of PMC Twenty5 26i's. The ATC's are likely my end game speakers. I listen to almost every genre and they perform well no matter what I put through them. I am running them with a Luxman Pre and Power combo. I've not heard the Devore's so I cannot compare.
ATC SCM50 (passive) v. Devore O/93
I am seriously considering purchasing either ATC SCM50 (passive) or the Devore O/93. Any thoughts on one over the other? This is for a new system in a downstairs room that will open to the outside. Room itself is about 15 x20. This is first step in building system. Will make amp purchase based on which speaker I buy. I realize the sensitivity differences and will make sure to have adequate power for either. Also, I will be buying used and price differnce is not as great as retail price difference. So all things being equaly, which to grab. Lot of rock music likely to be played on this system. Thanks.
