ARC CD2 or Bel Canto DAC2 with transport

can't go wrong with Bel Canto anything! I have the DAC3 and it is phenomenal. Good luck!

I would stear away from the ARC CD2 for this reason. The laser mechanism is not being made anymore and ARC is out of parts. Therefore, if you have a problem it may not be able to be repaired. Other than that it's a good plyer for it's vintage, but not at the same performance level as current design players at a similar used price points.

sounds really nice and the price was right

that said I didn't do enough research
fatal flaw
and it's the same damn phillips transport that cratered in my also nice sounding when it worked audio aero prima cd player which is now a boat anchor
they want $800 replacement charge
