Eldartford,personally,i haven't heard the CSC-X but i owned the HDS 850467,it's still cheap at $62.80. (top of the line with the same cone material).
I always test the drivers (except tweeter) with no X-over to get the original timbre/tonality.
The HDS was a shamed compare with SS 18W/8531G-00.

All my gears are bought used here on Gon,except for Dynavector XX2 and i can sell them all anytime and still make some $$$ or a lot of $$$,in fact i bought the Cremona for much less than 5K.
FYI,Cremona is also used cheap Vifa tweeters. Is it better than Be tweeter ? nope,not even closed.
Blcube,nothing wrong with $39 and $29 drivers if you price it right, like $995?

For me,the problem with Millenium is a little bit low in sensitivity and can be too soft for some systems and ears. |

What Accuton midbass are you using with?
I had C95-6 and C23-6 a while ago. The C95-6 was little hard to work with in my 16L cabinet.

Can you let us know what kind of caps,resistors, and inductors inside the Caravelle?
Cabinet and X-over are,of course,important how about the drivers? Why did they stop at the cabinet and X-over?
Look at what you get for the binding post!
You own Lowther drivers and you know which one the most important parts and which one that will make a huge different on the speakers !
Are you building/starting speakers based on the cabinet first?

Warrenh,what do you think inside your speakers? I'm even surprised if there is any Mundorf Silver Supreme cap or silver coils in it to match with those drivers.
I'm not angry with 5K speakers as long as they are reasonable priced.
Let's say Mini Utopia Be retail for 6K,they are imported from France. They have a US distributor and their speakers needed to be shipped plus custom tax. And look at their ads which cost them much more than the speakers it self every month on many magazines around the world!
If JM labs eliminate the US distributor,they can sell Mini Be for around 3.5K to 4K and still make a huge profit.
If they eliminate their ads,they can sell less than 2.5K.
There is no comparison between the Caravelle drivers and Mini Be drivers,not the performance and not the cost.
(I pick JM labs for example purpose only !)
Don't fool anyone with telling $27 low cost Seas Tweeter is better than Be tweeter !
I heard their top of the line Millenium Tweeters in many speakers and they cannot match with the Be,not even closed.
The cabinet,binding post, and X-over for Mini are also much more costly.

When did i say Millenium tweeters are junk?
Is Be better than Millenium ? Certainly. I still own the millenium besides 4 other tweeters.
1. My 2904/7000 is also better than Millenium.
2. Millenium is MUCH better than Vifa ring radiator in my Cremona.
3. My Morel supreme 110 is more dynamic than Millenium but also has more egde.
4. Millenium is better than SS 6100.
Do i like Millenium? Yes,if not i will sell mine. In fact,i'm thinking about buying the Cressendo, new top of the line from Seas.
If you are saying Millenium better than Be,it's OK and acceptable since not all people like hard dome.
If you are saying Caravelle tweeters are better than Be,you are lying !!
