I've had MIT cables for MANY years (I'm denying that I'm old).
From the 330 Twin Terminator balanced interconnect to the Oracle MAX2 balanced interconnects we had.
Can't remember past MIT speaker cables but we're using Oracle MAX SHD now.
Also using their coaxial digital Oracle MAX cable.
These cables provided the most natural, life like performance I found. Stunning performance.
We've since found another brand that exceed MIT, I liked them so much - I became a dealer. Replaced our power cables and interconnects - saving to replace our speaker cables.
After getting "educated" on the psychology of people - I no longer actively pursue selling the cables I represent. A closed minded person has predetermined notions - and this overlooks the fact that MANY people don't have their expensive system set up properly, so identifying performance differences in these poorly set up systems is difficult if possible at all. There's easier ways to make the small amount of money involved in a sale.
Had a friend over the other night - he was amazed how our system sounded. His excitement gave me the "bug" again and now I'm excited to help him set up and optimize his system - independent of what cables he's using or decides to use.
If you want to recreate the illusion of a live performance - MIT does a very good job. You'll need to attend live performances periodically as a reference otherwise you'll be guessing on what a live performance sounds like.
Hope everyone stays safe and healthy in this pandemic. It's time to reflect on and count our blessings :-)
