The Motif gear is nice. I owned some for years. It was CJ's first entry into solid state, and in many ways was higher high end than their current solid state gear.
I actually liked the preamps the best. The MC-10 was later made into the CJ PFR. The MC-10 was better (parts). MC-11 phono stage was later the CJ EF-1.
The MC-8 had a killer built in phono stage, which later became the PF2 (again Motif had many better parts). The MC-9 was the same without the phono.
Then there was the dual mono MC-7 with a separate power supply and dual volume controls.
