Anyone considered solar powered audio?

After power conditioning, expensive ac cords, Bybees, dedicated ac lines, etc., we are still left dependent on the power grid for our ac and all it's inherent problems. Having taken note of several components that rely on power from batteries to gain the advantages of isolation from the ac grid, I wonder, why not the entire system? Solar powered arrays have come down a lot in price and are becoming more competitive alternatives, especially in high sun hrs. per day areas. Has anyone considered a dedicated solar power system for their audio? It seems an intriguing idea to me.
