Anybody ever dealt with Safe and Sound audio

I am getting interested in a DAC upgrade.   Has anyone dealt with Safe and Sound audio?

Thanks

Thanks to everyone for their info.

I spoke with Mike and Aaron on the phone, they will have a K-01XD SE for me on Friday.  I'll take my K-01XS to compare, and my Aurender for auditioning tracks.

Now that I am in VT gone are the days when I could drop in to Sound by Singer at lunchtime and replicate my system and try new components!

I made the journey, Mike & Aaron had set up their listening room ready for me.  We installed the new K-01XD SE and my K-01XS and my Aurender.

After an hour of intense critical listening I was totally convinced of the value of the upgrade.

Somehow there is an extra layer of sound revealed, especially in deep bass passages, the very high treble was sweeter and the mid range even more luscious.  Straight out of the box.  4FS & M1 settings - to be studied further!

This is remarkable as the K-01XS is, itself, a first class DAC.

I brought the new box home and JUST managed to get it from the car trunk to my equipment "rack".  I hooked it up and have been playing music all afternoon.

Interestingly (perhaps) midway through the second piece I realized that though I had connected the SRS FS725 clock  - I had not set the DAC to sync.  The change was immediately noticeable, spatially and tonally.

As an aside the SRS FS725 uses the same rubidium physics package that Esoteric used in the G-01, though now moved to an OCXO.  Somewhat strange since, typically, a rubidium generator is more precise than an OCXO.  But they do seem to be moving "in-house" and a rubidium physics package is rather specialized.  And, FYI, the SRS FS725 is about 25% of the cost of the Esoteric G-01 part and is US made.  The G-05x is now "only" about $5k I think, maybe part of the reason to switch to OCXO.

Now, I'm wondering should i move to an Aurender N10 with external master clock from my N100?

Apologies for the ramble, my excitement is showing!
