Any thoughts or knowledge on the Advance Paris amps?

still looking for my amp and came across the A12 Classic...reviews look good. ($3,799.00)

Also maybe the Monoblock X-A220 EVO with the Pre XP 700.00 ($4,498.00 for both)

Worth taking a swing...both make my budget.

Oh...sorry...speakers are Monitor Silver 300's

No ears on experience but I have been researching them & as you said the reviews all look great..IMO they look to be a superb buy,packed with everything you would ever need in a system foundation..I also REALLY like the look..About the only thing I don't care for is the apparent hassle of changing out the small signal tubes..

Hmmm.....never thought about tube replacement.  I also looked a bit at the stereo amp and pre.

I touched base with a retailer and got on the AP -  It is a bit “rounder” in is presentation.  Same with the DAC. The DAC sounds really good but not a fast as the Hegel (the AP uses the Burr-Brown PCM1796 chip).

So based on my general taste, if i am going to bring one in and give it a spin, I am still leaning heavily with Hegel as i think that matches better at this point.  And if not, then i will return and try the AP...it is a very nice looking unit (integrated or separates). 
 

But....still not sure....i am not sure i am enjoying this, lol.
