Any Thoughts On An EMM Labs Pre 2

Hi

I am using a Pass Labs X350.8 with a Cary SLP 05. Lately, after listening to a friend's full solid state system, I have gotten an itch to try a solid state pre for a quieter background, a faster, more neutral sound.

I came across the post below on WBF and it seems that the EMM Labs Pre 2 is a good match for my amp (well according to the dealer anyway)

Does anyone have any experience with this preamp? I used to have an older EMM Labs DAC and liked the sonic signature. Am I right in assuming the same carries over to their preamps?

for what seems to be a decent price. Is this worth considering unheard?
