Yes quite a lot, as a dealer of both pieces, the sound quality of the Dac 2X is more organic with a bigger soundstage, it is just stunning.
The MA 1 is a great Dac, it misses the liquidity of the DAC 2x. Both Dacs are built on the same platform, the difference is a much more elaborate power supply and very expensive ceramic circuit boards, that elevates the Dac 2X.
