Amplifiers:A Keeper for Life. Do you know of one ?

Just wondering, with this audio merry-go-round of buying and selling, if anyone has an amp that will be a keeper for life. I haven't yet but came verrrry close once...

I have owned a first generation Jeff Rowland Concentra for many years, and see no reason whatsoever to change. I'm not suggesting that there aren't amps that are better, but rather that the sound of the Concentra is so good within the context of my system, and the machine is so finely made, that there is no real incentive to try and squeeze a bit more out of an upgrade.

While I still have (and love) my Jeff Rowland Concentra, it is in storage, and I am now using a vintage Accuphase E-303.

I could easily imagine keeping both!
