Amplifier / pre amp recommendations to power Tannoy Chertsey’s

Hi there, I’ve just joined :) looking forward to getting stuck in to some great content on here. 
I’ve recently acquired a pair of lovely Tannoy Chertsey’s. Looking for recommendations for reliable amplifiers to power them. Currently I have a quod amp but it’s a little temperamental. I think I could get more out of the speakers with a different amp. 
Any help would be fantastic. 🙏
