There is a thread on the 'Audiophile Style' site that shows how to rip SACD's using specific disc players. I have used this with an Oppo 103 universal disc player for years with great success. They list the different players that work and how to do it, and the users are helpful. audiophilestyle.com/forums/topic/28569-sacd-ripping-using-an-oppo-or-pioneer-yes-its-true/#comments
Unless you already own or have access to one of the viable players investing in the player would cost something- Oppo 103's sell used for about $300 on AGon and elsewhere. The number of SACD's you own and want to rip will be a determining factor if you want to go this way.
Ripping cd's can be done on a laptop with a cd drive, either built-in or attached. There are a number of apps that will catalog the rips by title, artist, tracks, etc., some are free some cost. The major cost with this method, as has been mentione is your time.
