Albums You Wished You Still Had

Warning: This post discusses events some vinyl lovers may find upsetting.

I assume that, like many members of this forum, I am a reconvert of the church of vinyl, and like many of my fellow penitents, I sometimes find myself lamenting the records that were casualties of my obeisance to the hegemony of the CD. In my particular case, the apostasy was extreme: I emigrated from the UK to North America and in an orgy of decluttering gave away my vinyl collection to friends. Now, having seen the light and recanted my youthful perfidy, I spend long hours trawling record shops looking for replacements for lost treasures-- and longer regretting my youthful extravagance when I contemplate the sometimes hundreds of pounds needed to buy records that I originally paid about a fiver for. First pressings of In the Court of the Crimson King, Scary Monsters, Trans Europe Express, and Never Mind the Bollocks spring painfully to mind.

So my question is, what vinyl album do you most regret that you no longer have?

My original Venom, Bathory, Celtic frost, Accept, Pentagram records which didn't make the basement sump pump failure.  no way to get those back,...... ive checked prices, and the conditions mine were in, no way.

sad. years ago, but still think of it.
