Has anyone tried this combination? I own a Calypso and am very interested in the MBL 116 speakers. I am considering Ayre V1Xe or MBL 9007 and not sure how the preamp would match up, especially with the MBL. Any comments will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I have not verified this myself, but have heard from others that Ayre and Aesthetix Calypso/Janus have problems together and that there's an audible hum. Has anyone else heard/experienced this?
