Adding a sub

I’m looking to add a sub to my setup

A 4 wpc Decware Mini Torii and Ref 3A de Capos, room is 12x20 and open to part of the sides. not looking for HT sub rattling sound.

I want to add a fuller sound to my existing speakers.

Im thinking of a side firing, sealed sub under 300 watts

I looked at the SVS SB-1000 Pro but transformer whine seems to be an issue

any thoughts? TIA

@gdaddy1 make sure it is able to be connected through the ’high level input’. It makes a big difference. Look at REL videos for explanation. Paul McGowen recommends this as well.

It certainly does make a big difference. Likely why every mastering and recording studio, theater, concert and club venue that I’ve ever played in or visited uses the direct unobstructed low level output signal from pre-amplification.
