I notice a slight oscillation of the motor pulley, reflected in a noticeable back and forth motion of the black blocks in the stroboscope with the platter off, and minute movement with the platter on. How can this be corrected?
Might be a bent motor spindle. I've heard people claim success in un-bending them, but they're usually outnumbered by the people who've broken them and had to replace the motor.
