Aavik - Owners

Just switched over from another brand to Aavik. My old kit became fatiguing after some time, did not like the forward presentation. I was hoping to get some discussion going on settings and what I am finding to be a significant change in speaker placement from my last set up. I have purchased the U280, S280, with LP12, all ansuz cables, Mainz8 power distribution block and PMC 25.26 speakers. Tyler and Josh at Next Level are awesome, I purchased blind and so far love the kit and sound but I am in the plains states and working through the new sound and set up on my own. Any suggestions and pointers would be welcomed.

Thanks for your replies everyone, that helps. I did get some response back and pointers from others. This will be a completely different presentation. It will take time to dial in and I have had to move my speakers much further out into the room with more toe in. The sound stage is much larger, so getting central voicing has been a challenge, but I am getting there.

I am in the process of changing my amplification and the I-280 is one of the amplifier I am considering. I currently have Hypex Ncore NC400 based monoblocks with a BAT preamplifier, I wanted to go full Class A but it looks like I will be staying with Class D.

Should have also mentioned I have Darkz footers for the Aavik and Ansuz boxes, the base units. And Sortz base units for the Aavik electronics.

Not a lot of pointers.  I have I-280, D-280, S-280, XT-C Powerswitch being updated to D3, A2 Mainz8, Kudos 606 speakers, Ansuz X2 Power cables, X2 Interconnects and speaker cables.  All I can say is how much I love this system.  Also purchased from Next Level.  Simple operation, beautiful clean detailed presentation.  Wonderful soundstage, low level listening, along with an unbelievably "real" presentation at high listening levels.  Personally I could not ask for more.
