All kidding aside, I don't find it unusual that both interests are taken further than normal. I wish had the ability to really snuff out the different scents as it would aid in wine tasting.
Sometimes I can detect some deep and complex scents and tastes but for the most part, it's mostly homogenized, with a few things that stand out.
