Do all of the drivers in that speaker work? Is what you hear distorted or is it just softer? If it is just softer, but otherwise sounds okay, I would guess that you have a problem with the crossover. In any case, the speaker is probably worth repairing if you like it. The big cost in speakers is the cabinet, and that is obviously not damaged.
90% loss of one speaker volume.
I accidentally hit my Ohm 5 mk2 speakers with a 1 second high volume burst. One speaker has an 90% volume loss. I confirmed not my amp or cables by hooking up to second speaker that outputs fine. Fix or repair possible ? Cost?
