Happy New Year ! Hi I’m new so excuse my ignorance. I currently have a McIntosh 8900 and I’m wondering if it would be possible to connect two McIntosh mono’s thus utilizing the 8900 as a preamp until I can purchase a dedicated preamp in the future ?
It does have pre outs how is the connection made ? With a pair of rca’s ? I’m reading the manual and I’m not interested in doing the biamping mentioned there just bypassing the 8900 and running a pair of 830 monos ?
