| Sonus Faber speakers Maybe I should consider a different direction loudspeaker wise ? The Forte 4’s ? Similar footprint size wise higher efficiency more dynamic as my musical tastes are all over the place. | |
| Sonus Faber speakers I was afraid of that.... I really like the way my V’s sound. I do notice when I get up around the 85 decibel level the speakers seem to run out and just grab more power from the amps in return for not much of a volume increase. | |

| McIntosh 830 I’ve tried both DAC’s and prefer the 8900 DAC via coax. You are probably right though but considering I’m new to the high res streaming it’s sounding pretty good. At this point I’d rather put money towards a pair of La Scalas than a better DAC. | |

| 8900 integrated It does have pre outs how is the connection made ? With a pair of rca’s ? I’m reading the manual and I’m not interested in doing the biamping mentioned there just bypassing the 8900 and running a pair of 830 monos ? |
