I don't remember exactly what brand Apple uses, but it's not an Intel or Indilinx-based drive (OCZ, etc.), which are the two that you want to look for. If you really want an SSD you're best of purchasing one with a normal magnetic drive and installing the SSD on your own.
2009 Mackbook Pro question
Thinking about buying the current 17" MBP and am wondering if anyone knows the 128MB SSD model/manufacturer, and the read/write speeds. Can't seem to find any info. The larger "256MB" is too pricey through Mac, and probably nothing near 200MBS R/W speeds.
