Purepower APS a reliable product?
I loved what the PP2000 unit did for my system over 3+ years however when it came time to consider upgrade (PP2000+ or PP3000+), it took forever with many broken promises to my dealer with money already paid to PP (by my dealer) to get a demo unit...
Absolute top tier DAC for standard res Redbook CD
Thanks for all the detail on the various options available with the K-01. I talked to dealer in Canada who is extremely experienced with Esoteric gear including the P-01/D-01, VU models of both, P-03/D-03 and as of late the P-02/D-02 and K-01/K-03...
Purepower APS a reliable product?
I sold my PP2000 sometime ago and no longer have to deal with them. I'm very happy with both the fact that I now have superior results with a Bybee 3.0 unit and the fact that I no longer have to deal with all manner of delays, b.s. and lies in con...
Advice on New Electrical Service
Check out my system thread and another thread or two where I've talked about the EP units; they are WELL worth the money. Best $750 and $179 I've put into my system ever. Also on those threads I give details on my main and sub-panel; briefly, I've...

Matt/Guido: Thank you both for all the data on your listening experiences with the K-01. If anyone has a chance to hear the new K-01x, please let me know. I'd like to know if it is worth waiting for or if the K-01 gets it 100% and the x is simply ...

Does anyone have the name and contact info for the local Esoteric rep who would have taken over sales for the United Sales after Mark Gurvey left and is part of the Gibson/Onkyo/Esoteric sales structure? Please email on Audiogon....thanks!

I have also been TRYING to deal with ONKYO/INTEGRA Support and Service to get a repair diagnosis and cost for my P03U and also have a new conversation regarding the 02 series and K01; I am seeing long delays in getting answers out of Japan and Onk...
Legacy Audio "V" Statement/Flagship Speaker...
Thanks Tobb....what city?Dragon_vibe: I'm glad you found set of speakers that you like and must be having a good experience with. You've left several of these same extremely negative posts about Legacy build quality on almost every thread you've v...
Maker Audio NL14 and NL14+...
Glory: Let us know how they sound! Did you pick up that pair that was advertised here on the 'gon? If so, the prior owner is a great guy; talked to him several times but could not pull the trigger; I'd say you got a great deal in that case on a fa...
Legacy Audio "V" Statement/Flagship Speaker...
Thanks Tobb....the Whisper is an amazing speaker that simply disappears in the room and images like a true panel speaker but with alot more to offer (IMHO). I am keen to see the next gen of Whisper whenever that may be given Bill never rests and i...
Does anyone own the Legacy Aeris
BTW....the link above (copied here again) now collects all the various reviewer feedback links from RMAF on "V" into one location that you can click around and get to the specific articles. Some high praise appears to have been awarded from a lot ...
Does anyone own the Legacy Aeris
Tobb...sorry to miss your question, I've been off the boards for a more than a week. The Edge NL 12.1 when it was new retailed for a little over 20K if memory serves but you could get it for a few thousand less easily. Now, when they pop up on Aud...

Thanks for the feedback...I find the AERIS to be incredibly so in that regard with large degrees of presence and realism to boot. Overall, one hell of a speaker that I can spend many years enjoying. I've only been able to do 1 audio show of any no...

RMAF 2014 Observations
Thank you Philb.....I heard Lansche speakers back at AXPONA 2011 in 2011 paired with BMC Audio gear (player/transport, DAC, pre-amp, amps) and the combination was one of the most transparent and best imaging I've heard in a big room that was itsel...
