Is all the hype warranted
I've seen some emphatic owners perhaps overhype them, but I don't believe they are any more hype than any other company.  Then again if they purposely leave their lead-times at 2 years to maintain hype, that is a bit different from most manufactur...
Mark Levinson 534 compared to Pass 350.8
Is it just these 2 in the mix?  Coda seems to be more of the goto comparison/competitor with Pass for warmth and musicality than Levinson.  The solid state I have longer term experience with that has warmth, musicality,  and great tone is Circle L...
Help Deciding On New Speakers For Small Room, $10k budget
I have heard some other great brands referenced, but the ones I have lived with the most, check all the boxes for me, and seem to check the boxes of OP would be Daedalus.  Not fatiguing.  I don't listen to much jazz of late, but they've steered me...

The Allure of Vintage Audio Gear
I don't consider my 43 year old tube amps vintage,  but they are old.  They are quieter (dead silent on 97 dB speakers), clearer, more neutral,  and faster any other tube gear I've owned except a new version from the same company that retails for ...
Looking for a new Subwoofer
Rythmik are great subs that I've heard in numerous systems/ rooms.  Doesn't mean they are for everyone or that a single sub heard once was set up well.  I know someone struggling to get bass in his room trying different subs, up to 4 subs, room tr...
Power Amplifier - Maximum Resolution & Detail!
ModWright KWA 150SE has been the best for detail that I have heard though have changed speakers, moved to lowered power options since owning one, and have not been in search of even better detail.  Definitely no harsh edge to accompany the resolut...
Best speaker brands for transient response
Daedalus Audio speakers have been the best fit for me and best overall that I have heard.  I would be very tempted by the currently available used Apollos if I didn't already have a set of Ulysses. Very natural sound,  non fatiguing.  Bass is fas...
Tube amps under $7500
@hickamore Other than silver color, Circle Labs M200 could tick all the boxes if you are considering high current SS route.  It is a great looking amp though.  I believe at the price of the one currently available used, it would be difficult to be...

"What is not feasible about Aric gear?" Two-chassis, single end input only.  @hickamore  Lots of posts on this thread, not sure if you missed response directly from Aric.  He offers balanced inputs and even offered to do a mimic of a silver met...

Wish I knew the trick for highlighting text @hickamore  Copy the text, use " button,  paste text.  Do you have a benchmark A-A/B amp/s for bass?  What amp combination are you using now? What is not feasible about Aric gear?
Tube amps under $7500
I suppose it is a given that no tube amp in my price range can match its SS equivalent on bass I think that would only be true if your preference is strictly solid state for bass.  I had a tube amp that sounded great, but with steroetypical bas...
Tube amps under $7500
@hickamore   I had a pair of Legacy Focus paired with a ModWright amp.  Always smooth,  natural,  transparent,  detailed,  excellent bass control.   I had previously sold all my tube gear.  As good as the ModWright was I wanted some of that tube w...

18 inch subwoofer vs multiple 12 inch subwoofers with bookshelf speakers
@thxbest , I would ask Brian at Rythmik.  He was very helpful to me not just with his product line, but also other principles and how to meet my integration and sound quality goals.  He is very straightforward and not trying to just sell you somet...
