Lumin T2 burn in time?
Thanks @rockrider Not a bad suggestion at all.  I have 2 iPads at home but they are primarily used by my daughter and my wife.   Can you recommend a cheap tablet?  I'm an Apple user, but as you know, Apple stuff are never cheap :-(
Lumin T2 burn in time?
Hi,  I just want to give an update to everyone on this thread on the Lumin T2 after a little over 2 weeks of burning in.I have to say the T2 is sounding much better now.  Bass has definitely improved, and the overall sound is just so 'sweet', for ...

Hi @thingswelike Thanks for the reply.   Yes, on the Cambridge app, the playlist goes back to insertion order when you turn off the 'shuffle' feature. Thanks!
Lumin T2 burn in time?
Hi @thingswelike thanks for the lengthy reply.   I'll try to take a look at your suggestion.BTW, I have another comment about the Lumin App.   It's about the implementation of the "shuffle/random" feature of the playlist.First of all, when the shu...

No, have not tried the Leedh volume control.   Is it supposed to be good?
Lumin T2 burn in time?
I am currently running the latest firmware. I think @tuberist might have a point about network. My network does have issues sometimes. Spectrum is the provider, and I can’t tell you how much I dislike them. Don’t get me started...
Lumin T2 burn in time?
hi @bwguy my preamp is pure analog, so no DSP processing.  Right now,  I'm just going to let it run continuously for another week and see how it goes.   Like I said earlier, SQ wise, I like everything about the T2, except I wish the bass is a litt...
Lumin T2 burn in time?
I have my Lumin T2 connected to a preamp.   I don't find the Lumin harsh, but I do find it a little thin sounding.   I do like the details and the spaciousness.   Bass is definitely lacking some slams, as compared to my Cambridge Audio 851N.   I'm...
Parasound vs. Krell for 2 channel
I've never heard the Krell, but I own the Parasound A31, and recently upgraded to JC-5.   I don't agree that some descriptions of Parasound's sound being dry.    I would describe it as neutral to slightly warm. However, I agree that some people mig...
How does Shure V15 Type IV compare?
Thanks for all the information from everyone.  I am quite overwhelmed.   I have been away from vinyl for so long, and many of the names that were mentioned here I have never heard of.    I remember back in the late 70's when I first saved up my su...
Finally took the Bryston 4B Cubed plunge
Hi @phcollie I finally managed to audition the Bryston 4B3 and compared it to the Parasound JC5, but at the end I decided I will keep the JC5.   Here's my impression of the 2 amps. When I first hooked up the Bryston, right away I noticed the improv...
Finally took the Bryston 4B Cubed plunge
Thanks @phcollie for the great update. It sounds pretty good to me! I think I’m going to try to audition it at home. Will post an update if I do. Thanks again!
Finally took the Bryston 4B Cubed plunge
Thanks @phcollie looking forward to your impression of the Bryston.   As with the JC-5,  after another week of burning in, it started to open up a little.  I can definitely hear more low bass that I couldn't from my A31, but mid and upper bass sti...
Finally took the Bryston 4B Cubed plunge
Thank you all so much for the responses so far.  They are all very helpful.   I will try to read up on Bryston a little more and maybe give it try.
