Cable insulation, graphene, electron flow... how does it work?
I agree. An observation without measurements is an opinion, and does not amount to snake oil which implies an attempt to deceive.
Cable insulation, graphene, electron flow... how does it work?
It works on exposed solder joints, that I can say for certain, since I carefully covered every accessible solder joint in my preamp (over 100 joints) with graphene paste. The cumulative effect on sound quality is extremely positive.
Cable insulation, graphene, electron flow... how does it work?
Thanks Erik. That was an interesting article.
TA-102 fo.Q Product from Japan "TRY These"
Just go onto eBay, search for fo.Q TA-102 (or TA-32) and choose any site that offers free postage and a price of $35 or less. I have bought from many different suppliers and never been cheated. It can take up to a month to arrive. The limit is usu...
Cable insulation, graphene, electron flow... how does it work?
Thanks for the link and your opinion Erik. I'd also be very interested to know from anyone who knows if properly deposited graphene does operate (at any level) through the insulation of cables, and if it's safe to deposit on the exterior of insula...
TA-102 fo.Q Product from Japan "TRY These"
Under footers is good. But fo.Q also make products with greater stiffness that are more suited for that purpose. I got great results by wrapping the entire footer with fo.Q (thin TA-32 works best because it doesn’t spring open). Anywhere on the ch...
TA-102 fo.Q Product from Japan "TRY These"
I'm happy someone brought this up. I wanted to but didn't want to preach about my near obsession with fo.Q tape. It's a great product. I have used over 50 packs of TA-102 and TA-32 on my system in all kinds of places. I know it inside out. If anyo...
Perfect Path Technologies: Omega E mat
E-Mats under the turntable is great! For me, better than under the power amps, phono preamp or preamp. I even spread all 4 under the turntable and that worked extremely well. Crazy, but it was as good or better than one under each component!
Perfect Path Technologies: Omega E mat
Thanks jafreeman - I will certainly be having more fun with the PPT products than I expected. Ijust used the first smidgin of TC and it brought out that finesse I was talking about. Still daylight here!
Perfect Path Technologies: Omega E mat
I just received my package from Perfect Path. I read all of the posts here and on the Total Contact topic (well, nearly all!), positive and negative. I know that some under-the-radar tweeks such as piezo electric damping tape do work extremely wel...
Does anyone use wood for vibration control?
hard, dense wood (like ebony) with one side treated with piezo-electric vibration damping.
Perfect Path Tecnologies ‘The Gate’
Re obsession with noise floor. In my experience there are two types of noise - the background noise you can hear all the time mostly due to limitations of power and componentry, and the noise which only manifests during play, due to vibration. Low...
PRIMA LUNA AMPLIFIERS
XLR is good as far as I'm concerned. It means I can use my XLR Odin interconnects, instead of leaving them in a drawer.
PRIMA LUNA AMPLIFIERS
I've had my 2 PrimaLuna Evo 400 poweramps and Evo 400 Preamp running for about 10 days, and they are everything I could ever want in an amp. Driving Martin Logan CLX with Gotham sub to room shaking levels, or listening late at night at low levels....
Prima Luna EVO series amps/preamps now available...
The Prima Lunas (and I'm sure the Etna has more than a little to do with it) are exposing extremly subtle details in my favourite recordings. In one track that I've played hundreds of times in the past, there is tremolo on the rhythm guitar that I...
