How to remove tarnish from OLD Silver wire? You can take it to a jeweler and have them polish it off. They have buffers that work real well. Might cost you 5 bucks, could be worth it if your cables are expensive.
Anyone tried Wywire yet? Yes i have tried them and they are very good. I guess i would not recommend a cable unless a way out was available. The 60 day gaurantee makes it real comfortable to give a try.

Words From the Wise The last guy was great. But virgil's remarks "are out to lunch" I will tell u right now he isnt the guy who will sit down infront of his hi-fi and listen. He will turn on his hi-fi and maybe listen for awhile. Probably use it for company and recre...
Why is 2 Channel better than multi-channel? Oh this is easy. Because their are so many obstacles involved in gettin the sound from your speakers to your ears. If you have only two speakers screwing it up rather than 5, 7 or even the dreadful 10 the outcome is alot less noticable to your aud...
Poor man's reference DAC You got to check out the perpetual technology dac. It is wide range of upgrades available to it. It is a very nice sounding dac. A great toe tapping dac.
Speaker Wires on Carpet I would use speaker cable elevator on cable that does use much shielding. If your speaker cable is well shielded, and there are alot that arent, then u shouldnt worry to much about it. Talk to any seasoned guitarist. they dont want cheap cable runn...
Words From the Wise 1. decide first if you want a 5 channel hometheatre or a two channel hi-fi. Trying to incorporate both in one system tends to leave one or the other neglected. I mean by system matching, with cost allowance. The hi-fi end will usually lose ground....
