Real Stinkers
Great question...I'll have to give it some thought...but in a little broader overall thought:.. It seems, to me, that many artists that I have enjoyed through the years turn out 2 or 3 great albums...then downhill from there.
best speaker for real world music
Actually many speakers may fit your needs...with a good sub added. I don't think the Martin Logan Aeon is the right choice for you...but read the current review of the Aeon with Martin Logan's sub in the current Absolute Sound. The reviewer does a...
What Tube Amp Looks Coolest?
For a classic look, the VAC 30/30 and 70/70 are a sight to see..as well as most Conrad Johnson tube amps.

Miles Davis "Kind of Blue"
Perhaps the king has no clothes? I love Jazz, it has been my main music diet for 30+ years. That said, I do like "Kind Of Blue", but enjoy many others more. While we are on the subject, will Acoustic Sounds ever get tired of re-releasing the same 2...

Shasta, could not agree more about the natural Ash. One of the things I like about some older and current modern furniture from Scandinavia is their use of light/natural woods..Ash, Beech, White Oak and others.I worked at a hi-fi store in the days...

Want to get excited about SACD again??
Actually Madisonears, all of the above is based on sonic qualities and far from a failure to understand. You need to read through your own bias. My thoughts above are in wanting SACD to succeed on all levels and feel this success is more likely wit...
