My Crown XLS 2002 kicks butt  for my yard. I've been impressed from day 1 and its so effcient.
Building a second, vinyl focused system. Speaker advice needed! (<$10k)
My second system is the Yamaha CX/MX1000 combo, Yamaha NS1000m with a Gustard X26pro Dac.  This cost me less than 4k and I love it.
??? What Is Your Favorite Speaker Finish ???
Cherry on my B&W 803 and Rosewood on Silverline.  The new speakers use Ebony gloss like Elac Vela or Wharfedale Elysian.
Chinese DAC's
Gustard X26 Pro is awesome
To monoblock or not to monoblock McIntosh MC275's
If you have the money, then monoblock would satisfy that want.  Also depends what speakers you are driving?  The difference is so minimal that you will tell yourself there is a difference but in actuality, its probably zero.  I bought a pair of Em...
Have you reached your end point with this addictive hobby?
This is a hobby that people listen to equipment and not musiic. Or is a hoarder and want to collect every nice looking equipment out there. I fall in hoader category.  But love to listen to music with the different sound signatures equipment have ...

The best speaker you ever heard?
A question that can never be answered. But heck, if I had a no limit price and didnt care,  B&W Nautilus 12 at $100K.  It has to look the part too.  Cheers
Maybe critical listening skills are bad?
There's no endless system, this is a hobby with no price tag.  For crtical listening, I would just take out my Luxman 590AXII.  Its the amp to have for audiophiles, I use this amp to do audiophile listening and love it.
Bose 901 Review Well Done.
Many bashers here on this speaker. Its a unique sound which is not for everyone.  It has spatial direct reflecting sound. Not for me, but its a product for music listening that got marketed so well.
$3500 floor standing speakers used. What would be your choice ?
B&W Nautilus  803, bass is tight and the speaker is warm sounding. Not forward or brigjht sounding with no fatigue.
How do you A/B amps in your system?
Its good to switch time and time. Move the amp and replace the speaker location.  If I want to do audiophile listening, get the Luxman 590AXII out.  If I want to enjoy the warm tube sound, try the Yamaha AS3200.  Having multiple equipment alows yo...
