need help with 5 channel amp When I was looking, it came down to two the ATI 1505 and the Sunfire Cinema Grande. The ATI was just as strong as the Sunfire in all regards. I was leaning towards the ATI until I found a Sunfire for $1250. So I have a Sunfire Cinema Grande and ha...
analog bypass capable receivers??? I do believe my Classe SSP-25 has what you are looking for. The analog bypass works quite well with my system. I picked mine up for just a little over half of the suggested list.
Which Sub breaks the house down?? The Earthquake Supernova series is very strong for home theater. I had one prior to my four tens and it was the loudest home subwoofer I had ever heard.
In wall speakers I use Polk Audio in walls and they work well. Some of the higher end models come in their own enclosures. If they are open then make sure you pack your wall tight with insulation. Good luck!
the BEST garage system you ve ever built Kenwood receiver, Kenwood Tapedeck, four Polk Audio M3s. Sounds very good but can't hear it over the air compressor or the grinder. Yup I do use my garage for things other than parking the family truckster.
Sunfire Cinema Grande balanced? Sometimes cost can dictate even in the higher end audio world. I was also told that pins 1 and 3 are shorted internally to make everything work correctly with no one knowing the better of it. I love my Sunfire but don't wan't to waste my hard earn...
Survey-What is your most used source? CD but tuner is a close second. I used my seperate DVD so little that I sold both my CD and DVD and bought a single carosel DVD and use it for both now. Bought a new Cassette player about four years ago and have totalled about two hours on it so far.
Opinion, Yamaha, Denon Preamps from 80s I was for a long time a very big fan of the Yamaha C4 M4 combination. If not for the move to home theater I would still be using them today. The Yamaha of the 80s was far superior than the same today.
Sub for monster BASS!!!!!! Eartquake Supernova- I have never heard such a powerful sub in my life. They will rock your world.
Krell HTS vs. Proceed AVP I have auditioned both and like both but I would give the edge to the Proceed. One reason would be software based upgradability for the Proceed. The Krell has a very nice sound to it but the Prceed at a minimum is as good if not a little cleaner f...
Surround Speaker wire Recs - WAF need kitch29 is exactly right. The mortise behind the molding is not only the easiest solution but since it is only behind the moulding it remains accessable if you need to add/change wire out. You may need to go to a little taller moulding then before...
Help deciding on DD/DTS Pre-amp Took a look and listen to Sunfire, Krell, and Adcom yesterday. The Adcom surprisingly was blown away by the other two. The Krell was the better sounding but at $6000 is a little too much. Has anyone compared the Sunfire TG-II to any of the others?...
SunfireTheater Grand ??? Sunfire is currently offering for $1000 plus $25 for shipping that you can trade in your TG-1 for a brand new TG-2. www.sunfire.com
Help deciding on DD/DTS Pre-amp Listened to Proceed AVP $5000, Classe SSP25 $3000, Rotel 976 $1200, and TagMclaren AV32R $4000 Today. Proceed is very nice but maybe a little too much money. Classe sounded excellent and is closer to my range. TagMclaren I had never heard of befor... |
