Audio Magic's Eclipse I get the point....couldn't resist...pure corn, I realize...
Is high frequency extension important to openness I cannot explain the separation thing, but I can say, that my Harmonic Precision Caravelles, are the most phase coherent, airy, beautifully extended (highs and lows), bass to die for(in a 7" woofer), in a monitor, with an amazing patent pending cr...
Which power conditioner for large amp and digital? I don't know what the Anthem is, however, if it is digital, keeping in separate from analog, is best. With the digital mini, this is not a problem if they are both digital. The Stealth has separate circuitry for both. If you're interested, Westcoa...
Which power conditioner for large amp and digital? I plug all my components into my Audio Magic Eclipse. The isolation, in the Eclipse, is perfect as far as digital and analog goes. Two separate power cords required; and then going into two dedicated lines = electric nirvana. Of course, some good ...
Is high frequency extension important to openness I agree with Gmood as far as the crossover goes. There are, certainly, many factors involved in speaker design, but the core is the crossover. The more speakers the more problematic. peace, warren
Audio Magic's Eclipse . I have my Eclipse coupled to Mother Earth via Sistrum SP-001s. Infact all my components sit upon these babies. Extraordinary! Isolate? Almost impossible. But coupling is attainable and very effective.
Audio Magic's Eclipse Sorry those Harmonix don't do ya. I hope you were tying the Studio Masters. They're the deal. As far as your Eclipse? I know what you know. 'tis grand.....ain't it?
Musical Fidelity A220 can drive Magnepan MG20? I don't think 100 watts is enough to drive any Maggie "well." Let's face it, you can listen to anything with 100 watts, but your system will never sing. I wouldn't be happy with anything less than 200, but more is even better. 400 watts? Now you'r...
Review: Revel Performa M-20 Speaker John if you had $4500 around, jump on the Caravelles. Phase coherence to die for. And that's just the beginning. peace, warren
A “Tuned” power cord, Huh? Santiago, you're right on that: the website that is. If you're interested, or anyone else for that fact, I can email you the guy I bought my cords from. He'll explain it to you. Or try to, at the least.
A “Tuned” power cord, Huh? I've been told that my power cords (Harmonix XD-C Studio Master) is a tuned cord. Nothing about the "tuning" thing motivated me to buy these babies. The fact that a golden earred buddy of mine, traded in his Elrods for these, was enough incentive ...
Most forgiving speakers? Thanks, Duke..
What integrated amp under a grand is your favorite A used YBA Integre. You'll be hard pressed to find a better 50 SS watts. Beautiful top to bottom including the innards. peace, warren
Best Integrated for Audio Physic Virgo III? Owned the YBA for 7 years. Absolutely loved it. Still think it's of the best SS 50 watts out there. If YBA hadn't come out with the Passion, I'd probably, still have my Integre. peace, warren
Most forgiving speakers? will a fellow audiophool, please, explain to me exactly what "forgiving speakers" means. It sounds, to me, like a euphamism, for speakers that just can't cut the mustard, and reveal what fine speakers are meant to. Albert's list, obiously, has som... |
